Hi there,
At Avion, producing effective web content for the education sector is in our DNA. Having partnered with clients such as Monash University and Study Victoria over many years, we’re proud of our work and the role it has played in upskilling people around the world.
Relaunching the IHNA website
One of our latest projects has been with the Institute of Health and Nursing Australia (IHNA). Backed by the Health Careers Group, IHNA has been delivering healthcare courses online and in person since 2007.
Our challenge was helping internal teams redevelop a brand-new website—one that was more interactive, engaging, and student-focused. Our scope of work included a content audit, IA redesign, and copy production for the top 25 pages. We moved quickly and delivered quality work within a matter of weeks.
Check out the new IHNA website now.
“What I often find challenging when working with external organisations is the lack of transparency around what you are actually getting at the end of the day. But we did not face that issue with Avion. Natalie and her team at Avion were an absolute pleasure to work with. The gold standard of customer experience in my opinion. Thanks Natalie and team!”

Speaking at Educate Plus 2021

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be speaking at Educate Plus 2021 in Adelaide in September this year. The conference features an extensive international line-up of names, such as Cornell University USA, University of Toronto, and The Manchester Grammar School.
As part of the marketing stream, my presentation is “Creating content that converts”.
- How do you make a website more memorable?
- What kind of language leaves a lasting impression?
- Why is it so hard to give people the information they need?
Standing out from other schools—or explaining how to enrol in a course—presents an ongoing challenge for education marketers. Students, parents, researchers, and strategic partners continue to glaze over our digital communications. Also, they often struggle to find what they’re looking for (and remember what we said in the first place).
In this tactics-focused presentation, Natalie Khoo will talk us through best practice copywriting principles and what to consider when creating content for the web. Topics include navigation, personalisation, search, storytelling, inclusive language, and terminology for local and international markets.
See the full agenda or purchase tickets via the EP Adelaide website.
Till next time!
