Hi there,
Every year in June, the Avion team gets together to chat game plan.
Along with addressing our strategy, laundry lists and the like, this year we had a very special mission – to update our team values.
Armed with sticky notes, pens and a whole lot of energy, we each wrote five values that are important to us, along with five reasons we love working at Avion. We then stuck them on the wall at STREAT, our meeting venue (chosen specifically because of their values).
The Avion team and mission has gone through many changes in the last few years. Our previous values (creativity, fairness, hard work, kindness and transparency) felt pretty on point, but we knew we could do better. Though the things that are important to us haven’t changed all that much, the way we think about them in relation to what we do has.
So, without further ado, let me introduce Avion’s updated core values:
- CREATIVITY – We’re big-picture thinkers who love to work collaboratively.
- COMPASSION – We demonstrate humanity in everything we do.
- INTEGRITY – We have strong moral principles that guide our work.
- MAKING A DIFFERENCE – We contribute to make the world a better place.
- POSITIVITY – We talk solutions, not problems.
Read more about them on our website.
The benefit of working with clients who share your values

A few months ago, I penned (or, more accurately, typed) an article about the perks of working with clients who share your values. It details how, in doing so, your customers are more likely to believe in your organisation.
Whether we’re participating in Plastic Free July or marching for climate justice, our values are at the heart of everything we do – and we’re proud of it! If you’d like guidance on how to integrate your business’ brand values into your content strategy, don’t be shy. Get in touch today to find out how we can help.
Until next time,
Christine & the Avion team
