Alexandra, your Project Manager reporting here!
As 2015 winds down, I’m sure those of us at Avion Communications aren’t the only ones who are thinking about setting some New Years resolutions. The blank page of a new year is the ideal time to get aspirational, and I’m feeling more positive than ever about setting – and achieving – goals.
I’ve recently completed The Performance Edge at Leadership Management Australia, which alongside covering some great time management, teamwork and communications tips, has armed me with the practical knowledge to achieve my professional and personal goals.
During my course, I was reminded that the key to setting goals is to keep them SMART:
• Specific – what, exactly, is it you’re trying to achieve? In what timeframe?
• Measurable – how will you know when you’ve achieved it?
• Attainable – is it something you can actually accomplish?
• Realistic – do you have access to everything you will need to meet your goal?
• Tangible – what does your goal look, feel, or sound like?
We’ve learnt a lot, grown a lot, and achieved a lot this year – and we’re so excited to continue in this same vein as we start the New Year. We’re really looking forward to working closely with you in 2016 to continue making your visions a reality.
Till next time,
Best wishes, Alexandra and the Avion team.
PS: The Avion office will be closed from December 22, and we’ll be back in action on January 18! Here’s to a great 2016!
