With 2018 in full swing now, you may not have had the chance to meet the newest members of the Avion crew. These two ladies have both been travelling the world on their own adventures and have come home to roost at Avion.
Introducing Marion Piper and Mel Jennings!
Highlights and key projects
Marion: I’ve recently been writing for an advertising agency in San Diego, USA, and had the privilege of working with clients in the real estate and tourism industries. In Melbourne, I’ve worked with Godiva Chocolates, Spiritual Nutrition and Brightwood. For Avion, I’ve been working with Suncorp on new tech project and working with James Cook University on materials for its international students!
Mel: I’ve been writing copy for over 5 years, so I’ve been lucky enough to work on lots of different projects across all sorts of industries. Some of my favourites include becoming an amateur foodie and writing restaurant reviews for Sharking For Chips & Drink, and working with Brooks Running Australia on several exciting product launches.
Best things I’ve learnt while at Avion
Marion: In the short time I’ve been with the Avion team, I’ve learnt the value of collaborating with external stakeholders. When you have a great relationship with your collaborators – like SEO or UX teams – you can achieve so much more (and the client benefits in the end too).
Mel: I’ve only been here for a few weeks, but I already feel like I’ve learnt so much. The team here is all about sharing knowledge and encouraging each other to fine tune our crafts, because there’s always more to learn when it comes to the world of digital and copywriting.
Fun facts about me
Marion

Marion and Mel are both excited to be on board with us at Avion. They look forward to helping you kick your copy goals out of the park in 2018 and beyond!
Until next time,
