Less than 1% of customers use paper receipts after a purchase. They often end up in the trash. IHR is a new tech startup that created the I Hate Receipts app to scan and digitised paper receipts and then store them in a secure cloud-based vault.
As part of its aggressive growth strategy, IHR needed to not only attract shoppers to use its app, but also appeal to merchants to offer their contactless HD receipts to their customers. Integrating its technology into store POS (point of sale) systems is key to IHR’s success. However, IHR lacked the marketing and communications materials to take their relationships with merchants to the next level.
