With Valentine’s Day upon us, I thought it would be a good opportunity to share my love for a few peeps that have been an amazing influence in my professional life. I would not be where I am today without their exceptional support.
Frank Chamberlin // Action Words, Monash University & DM Forum
There is a reason why Frank has more LinkedIn endorsements than you can poke a stick at. He’s been at the top of the copywriting game in Australia – and a Direct Marketing lecturer – for almost two decades, and has taught me almost everything I know about writing since 2010. Whether it’s refining my grammar or listening to me ramble about work-induced stress, I can always rely on Frank to transform me into a better person and professional, one cup of tea at a time.
Joe Manariti // SWiM Communications, AUDA & AWIA
Joe is extremely generous when it comes to sharing his knowledge, time and resources. His understanding of the web industry is second-to-none. I can always run to him whenever I have questions related to hosting, HTML code, ecommerce and more. The hours his team at SWiM have put in to support me is astounding. They constantly open doors to new opportunities and provide valuable guidance. Plus, they work tirelessly to bring my ideas to life, asking for very little in return.
Shefik Bey & Toby Biddle // U1 Group & Loop11
The Avion Communications office is a shared space – and you couldn’t ask for two more relaxed, fun clients to (literally) sit next to everyday. Specialists in UX and experience design, our team has learnt so much about digital technology – and for that, we are very grateful. Shefik and Toby have also been extraordinarily loyal and accommodating. They give us tons of work on an ongoing basis while cheering on business growth (and providing Friday drinks) from the sidelines.
Before I sign off, I’d like to also thank the clients we work with that just keep coming back for more, including The University of Melbourne, Milkman Agency, WorkSafe and Tyco.
Till next time!
Regards, Natalie and the Avion team
